Custom D6 Set (5 Dice)
Get your own set of 5x Slapshot Showdown fancy dice, with teeth pips, our branded text logo, and a goalie mask in place of the 6 facing to indicate a crit!
These dice are laser etched by a single artist with a small business, and won’t be able to be mass produced very cost effectively. They’ll be made in small batches and put up with limited quantities when I have them. (Due to the handmade nature, they may have visible excess paint leftover on the dice, or minor imperfections. Leftover paint outside of the grooves for the pips rubs off easily with your finger nail.)
When the Kickstarter rolls around, I’ll have to chat with the artist and see how many he can realistically make, so I can’t promise these will make it to Kickstarter!
Most players in the game roll a number of d6s equal to whatever the associated stat is, and most stats max out at 4. For example, a player with 4 Strength would roll 4d6 to Hit, and 4 Strength is a lot. A set of 5 will let you play with basically all the players, but I recommend 2x sets of 5 if you plan on playing with the Monster (he rolls an obscene number of Strength dice), or if you want to have some spare dice to grace your opponent with.
